of 16Welcome to Deckcast. Here's a quick demonstration of the basic functionality. So we're going to be pasting a video URL, this one from YouTube. As you can see, it's nine minutes long.
of 16BBC News report. We have different modes. or look at the modes in course, particularly language practice and other features specific to particular kinds of content. Here we'll just stick with summarize.
of 16You can use your choose own captions, but they're generally not very good. We have modulate.ai behind the scenes to do all the transcription work, and it's proved to be very, very good.
of 16You can see it can even deselect that. It's just The mode just determines the defaults. Now for a nine minute video, you may want to just follow the default sampling.
of 16Let's increase it slightly. On the screenshots, you could add a recording date. You can add for each being shot an audio clip. And just to finally demonstrate the translation capabilities, that German sound events will incur additional cost.
of 16We'll leave that out for the moment. I think we're good to go. First thing it does after getting through the queues, obviously, download the video, and then we'll Use your settings to create a preview of expected result.
of 16So this is in line with what we would normally expect, that stars will be less to very dense, but sometimes it comes up with the same number of slides.
of 16Let's go with the default. You can add your own, of course, and then Extract slides was the actual work. I was transcribing, then assigning transcripts to specific screenshots. As it's a nine-minute video, the good thing is it's multi-threaded so that the summary and the translation is done.
of 16We already have access to the editable transcripts. You can see we have emotions here. This can all be edited. And this gives you an idea of the video without actually watching it.
of 16So if you look at the summary, which is the same, really. Captions automatically generated, which will take you to the slides. And then you have the translation. You can select or deselect slides.
of 16You can edit the transcript, as I said. You can place the transcript. You can add the sound events here. You can add your own transcript file. And you're given the full transcript at the end, which you can export.
of 16I see this site as being useful to creators. And you can add the full transcript to the result of the PDF. And so for creators, you're giving your members, your subscribers, written record of your video.
of 16Basically what we've just seen, which is again editable. Here we have the audio emotions. And so you get the transcript here and a good idea of what the video is about.
of 16Just on this random sampling. The full transcript. It's a nine-minute video that's been condensed to 20 slides, the transcript. And you have a full transcript. Unlogged-in users will see a list and will have access to their previous Projects is another one with the translation underneath.
of 16Over as applications, this is just the basic way of using it. You can upload your own video file. And I'll then allow you to upload your own title file.
of 16Every new user gets 15 credits, and you can easily add new credits to top up as you need. And that concludes the demonstration.
